DEC Newcastle's event on 11th February 2016 is now booking

The National Institute for Health Research Diagnostic Evidence Co-operative (NIHR DEC) Newcastle is holding this event as part of Newcastle Academic Health Partners’ Industry Month.

 

The day will commence with a keynote presentation from Prof. Sue Hill (Chief Scientific Officer NHS England), this will be followed by a presentation from NICE’s Diagnostics Assessment Programme (DAP). You will also hear of the experiences of industry, and about the support available to generate high quality, independent evaluation evidence from the NIHR Diagnostic Evidence Co-opertive (DEC) and NuTH’s Medical Physics Department.

 

This day-long event for industry will focus on helping companies to better understand how to get in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) and other medical technologies adopted for patient benefit.

 

The event is being delivered in conjunction with Newcastle Hospitals’s Regional Medical Physics Department, and with the support of the Academic Health Science Network for the North East & North Cumbria.
