The NIHR Community Healthcare MedTech and In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative (MIC) brings together experienced health researchers, industry, end users and clinical experts in the development and evaluation of diagnostic tests that transform community healthcare by working with industry to deliver studies in the NHS.
We advise on the suitability of new technologies and the evidence required to support their commercial uptake.
We broker collaborations between industry and clinical practice to test new technologies in community settings.
Our public contributors help steer and govern our work to ensure it is relevant to patients and carers.
